why can’t everyone be a diana wynne jones fan

or a lot more people at least. (not everyone, since some people are not worthy.)

but imagine if you could just go up to people and strike up conversations about chrestomanci or howl since people would at least have heard of these wonderful characters and this would result in lengthy discussions about dressing gowns or butter pies or magids

and this would be possible.
